dear summer,

Dear summer,
Oh how I love you and oh how I will miss you
I will miss playing on the playground right around the corner

I will cherish all the memories from when the family came

all of the many badminton matches played

all of those face in the hole things

I will miss those hot summer nights where you are without a care in the world. Especially the 4th of July

I will miss doing my summer reading on the hammock. (well maybe not the summer reading..)

I will always remember snorkeling in the pacific ocean at the great barrier reef

My amazing australian adventure

I will miss water this blue

and going to the beach

but most importantly I will miss the laziness, the carefree feeling of summer and just being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want, not having to worry about school or homework.

You were good summer 2011, real good.

Summer 2011- never to be forgotten

Boarding the very first plane ride of many in a month, with just one other girl, Alex, there were quite a few things running through our minds. The main one being: WHAT THE HECK ARE WE DOING?! However once we got over the initial shock of the fact that we were traveling halfway around the world, without our parents or any adults, and then staying with a family who we hardly know for a month, the nerves turned into excitement. Of course it really wasn't real that I was going to Australia until at 6am Sydney time we touched down at Sydney International Airport right at sunrise.  And this began the adventure of a lifetime.

All in all the trip was awesome, even though I was homesick for the first week (I got over it). I'll never forget it and there will be many more posts because I took 682 photos (I'm not going to show you all of them, don't worry!).

Oh, also, I am super sorry for being such a slack blogger since I've been home. I literally have not done anything in the past week. Jetlag has been killing me haha literally, I cannot get out of bed. Like usually I have difficulties getting out of bed but I'm talking my mom woke me up at eight and I didn't get out of bed until 10:30..

oh the places you'll go.

hey guys!
Since we've last spoken (timed posts don't count) I have traveled halfway around the world to AUSTRALIA and back. It was truly the best experience of my life. And why yes, I am petting a wallaby in the above picture-I'm just that cool. Well I don't have any posts planned except one interview, and I actually cannot be bothered to write any because I am so tired and jetlagged and I have so much stuff to do before school starts on the 25th of August.
