on traveling with friends

traveling with friends is certainly quite a different experience than traveling with your family. 

for starters, you don't have your parents to carry all your bags..

..and the opportunities for candid photos are plentiful.

But above all, it is just so much fun! And there's never a dull moment, at least not with my friends..

I had just been on a plane for 8 hours, don't judge.. 

I decided that the eiffel tower needed a post of its own, for obvious reasons, like the fact that whenever someone says paris most likely the first thing that comes into ones mind is the eiffel tower. The eiffel tower is one of those things that you just have to see, I mean it would be pretty hard to go to paris and not catch a glimpse of this structure, but theres something quite fulfilling about laying in the grass in front of the eiffel tower on a warm spring day, something that just can't be replicated. Maybe its because I was running on one hour of sleep or maybe because it really was that awesome, I just wanted to stay there forever. 

Paris was great, yes there were an unmentionable amount of awkward moments, my french grammar probably made me look like an idiot, and there were numerous times that we just wanted to push one of our teachers into that huge lake at versailles, it was fun and I'll never forget paris (and even if I do, I have 650 photos to help me remember).

p.s. If you think that this is the extent of my paris posts, think again. I took 650 photos and all my clothes are dirty (read: I'm wearing a skirt in 30 degree weather because I have zero pairs of clean pants) so you're not getting an outfit post.

one year of | treschic!

got the last bit of daylight with these photos! I literally got out of the shower and took these.

Last year in a spur of the moment after christmas boredom I created treschic. I never expected anything, just a little hobby that I could do in my free time. I never expected how much I would love blogging and just the whole blog world in general. There are so many amazing blogs that I follow and nothing inspires my style more than all the amazing bloggers of who's blogs I read every day. I couldn't be happier with starting my blog a year ago today. It was one of the best decisions to this date. So thank you, thank you to my followers for following me, and thank you to the people who I follow for being so gosh darn inspiring and cool.

as of lately | christmastime

as of lately..

I'm on break and loving every minute of not having to do anything

I am finding out of focus pictures of the Christmas tree better than focused ones 

I'm wishing for a white Christmas, when in reality thats not going to happen 

I have been sleeping in until around 11 and I have no idea when come january third I am going to be able to get out of bed at seven 

I've finished all my Christmas shopping! 

I have my temps! YAY.

I now have one hour out of the 50 required driving hours to get your license

I'm really wanting this camera.. does anyone have it? Is it a good camera? It's cheaper than the d3100 so thats a plus..

9/11 memorial 

New York was amazing. I had never been before. We went at such a good time because it wasn't too cold but all the Christmas decorations were up. 5th avenue is truly captivating. We mostly went shopping.. YAY haha my dad was not as enthusiastic as we were. I may or may not have bought four sweaters in two days...

All in all it was truly amazing in a dizzying kind of way.
